Org Link Types

There are 2 types of links in Org mode:

1. Regular links created by help:org-store-link
2. Org ID links created by help:org-id-store-link

The main difference is that Org ID links use the :ID: property of an org file: these ids are globally unique, which means that id links are stable under renaming.

You can make help:org-store-link store ID links by setting help:org-id-link-to-org-use-id to create-if-interactive.
